Have been collaborating for around a year now.

Melissa shoes are well known for their unique shapes, bubblegum smell and latex material.
Vivienne Westood shoes are also well known for their unique shapes, colour and sometimes extraordinary height (Cue Naomi Campbell's infamous fall in Viv's platforms.)

So far i've loved everything from this collaboration range.
Cute latex pumps with gold orbs on the side and avante garde heels. This range has something for every girl and is very affordable.. with the most expensive in this range being £109 (After the release of the SS10 range the most expensive shoe will be £120.)

After looking at the SS10 range, due to come out October 2009 (some February 2009)
I am really impressed.

A pair of shoes that particularly caught my eye from the SS10 range are this pair of booties.
Made from Black PVC material. With three gold studs down the side that bare the Westwood Orb. Short and sweet, and waterproof. You can snap these beauties up for a mere £75!

Another pair of Melissa shoes from this range, that cannot go unannounced are the SS10 Ultragirl Pumps. PVC pumps with a seal on the front baring an embossed orb.

These pumps come in Peach with a Black seal, and Lilac with Red seal.
At £70, yet another lovely bargain to look forward to!

I have a personal vendetta against glitter, it gets everywhere and it's so hard to remove.
And it just screams tasteless white trash.
An alternative to glitter would be sequins. A hit on the Catwalk and the highstreet at the moment.

Sequins bring back fond memories to me.
From fancy dressing as a child, to finding delightful little packets of them in craft kits.
Sequins were quite fascinating when we were children. But do they still fascinate us now, decades on?

I'm not so sure.. but these beautys are a step in the right direction.

Lola is Marc Jacobs new fragrance.

He calles it the 'big sister' to 2007's successful fragrance Daisy.

I was quite reluctant to smell Lola.
I really can't argue that Daisy was a big success, but to me it smelt like stale urine.
Which isn't a smell i'm particularly fond of, so i assumed Lola would smell of something along the same lines.

I was pleasently surprised though.
It's a divine smell, musky and flowery.. just how i like them.

Abit over powering at first, but as the day wore on it smelt sensational and sweet. Less loud.

Also the bottle as you can see on the left, is quite quirky.. i'm just in love with the bottle!

Thanks to a certain Mr.Lagerfeld monochrome colours and ladylike cuts, ruffles and bows are back in fashion.
This trend is going to be huge for winter, so buy a fur coat and don the pussy bows.
It's all about elegance and luxe.
Who cares if you bought it from TopShop or Primark?
I won't tell if you don't.

When these two words are put together, footballers wives and trashy velour tracksuits spring to mind. Juicy Couture, famous for their Footballers wife fan base and bright coloured obscenities we call tracksuits, seem to have had an image overhaul.. in the shape of their new line 'Bird'.

Who would have thought Gladiator sandals would have caught on like they have?
Gladiator sandals made quite a brief appearance last year in comparison to being this year's must have summer shoe.

They go with practically everything and every shop is almost guarenteed to sell them, or something similar.

Most commonly in Black, Brown, Gold or Silver.. i think it's time to up the ante this season. Go for bold sandals, stand out a bit.

Jimmy Choo is launching a one off collection of accessories, handbags and of course.. shoes in 200 H&M stores worldwide on November 14th and will be available in the UK at the Oxford Circus, London W1 flagship and branches in major cities (Leeds please Leeds please.)

I am eagerly anticipating the arrival of these 'luxury goods with a H&M price tag'. Finally designers are realising this thing we call 'recession'. And it's about time too.

Is that some sort of code for erection, Urban Decay?

Urban Decay have brought out a new range of lipglosses (left), called 'Pocket Rocket Gloss'. Which features a cap with a changing picture. The picture being a photograph of a man who goes from being fully dressed, and then at the flick of a wrist his clothes are off. Another feature of this lipgloss is pheromone ink which you can rub to enhance sexual attraction.

Sounds like Urban Decay's target market are no longer PETA loving vegans but lonely desperate ladies. At £10.50 it's much cheaper than a dildo, so if you're lonely and desperate why not?

There are 7 different colours to choose from, all named after the men on the cap of the tube.

If your a desperate man-ogling kinda gal then head out to your nearest Boots and pick up yours!

You have struck gold with your latest womens collection, Fred Perry Laurel!

Fred Perry Laurel emits a young, indie sort of vintage vibe. And i'm liking it.

Gone are the days of tacky and 'chavvy' being words associated with Fred Perry, i think 'terrific' and 'chic' would be more fitting.

I am absolutely loving this shirt dress (left) which is a cinch at £95. The boat collar is so this season and perfect to show off those lovely collarbones, this dress comes in blue and white check too. Wear with opaque tights and black patent heels for a great smart-casual look.

Also, (left) this short sleeve top is absolutely darling. At £100 it might be a bit expensive but it offers versatility, you could wear this top with anything. This top also comes in black and grey, check the Fred Perry Laurel range out at Urban Outfitters Boutique.

Jack Wills University Outfitters

Overhyped? Over Priced?
Before a Jack Wills store opened in Leeds i quite liked this brand.
But ever since the local opening i cannot wear anything i purchased from here in public without the risk of seeing someone quite a considerable number of years younger than me wearing the exact same hoodie etc. Which is quite embarrassing.

Also, it seems Mr.Wills has gotten quite up his own arse about his clothes, which are to be honest.. nothing spectacular or out of the norm.

A pair of shorts, which to me looks just like a pair of JW sweatpants cut with scissors, will set you back £39, which isn't that steep.. but considering a full pair of sweatpants from JW is £59 its clear we are all being conned.

Looking at their new Summer collection they have made some good editions, floral dresses, white dresses.. more fashionable steps forward. But at £89 a pop i think i will be showing them two fashionable fingers, as there is no way on earth i am paying that price for something that looks like it could have been bought from any high street store. Also what the eff is with the sunglasses they have brought out? The sunglasses are lovely don't get me wrong, but at £129 and £149 i would rather pop on down to Harvey Nichols and buy a pair of Moschinos! (Above: Castree sunglasses £149)

My overall verdict Mr.Jack Wills is that your clothes are boring, and i would much rather have something more stylish at £89, than a floral sack, Goodday to you.

I am a proud owner of a pair of UGG boots, then again so are millions of other girls across the globe.
They're comfy and warm, and the neutral colours they come in go with everything. They are so worth the £150-£170 price tag.

I was browsing a shoe website when i came across the most discusting pair of boots i have ever laid eyes upon.
To the left, the flamingo coloured UGG boots that have forever tainted my love for UGG Austrailia.

The only thing i could possibly imagine would go with these
atrocities would probably be a Mckenzie tracksuit from JD sports.

I shall not be donning these boots or the Mckenzie tracksuit anywhere in the near future.

Big Hair trend..

BIGGER.. BETTER
Catwalks are showing the BIGGER the BETTER.. and i couldn't agree more!

A trend that has caught on like an austrailian bushfire. BIG hair.
Big beachy waves, thick and rebellious curls, teasing, backcombing.. it is all going on behind the scenes at the latest catwalk shows.
It is all about messy BIG hair that thins your face and boasts rockstar and wealth.

Backcombing and teasing with a rat tail comb or a round brush are the best ways (for me) to achieve this look.. as we cannot all afford £500-a-head 100% human hair extentions.

But please remember the big hair trend is no excuse for you to walk around looking like a tumble weed is sat on you're head. Regular trims and treatments are compulsory is you are a regular backcomber (like myself), backcombing hands out its fair share of split ends darling, and split ends are never a good look.

Vera Wang Rock Princess

I have owned and restocked Vera Wang Princess in my boudoir for two or three years now.
It's a lovely light day scent in a charming bottle, you simply cannot fault it.
But something more charming, more edgy and more seductive has rose up from the Vera Wang Princess 'collection' as it were..

Described as a dark fruity floral, it sounds just the thing for these sexy summer nights coming up.
I would buy it for the bottle alone! At £32 for 30 ml, i think i will be snapping some of this up.. sharpish!

I was actually going to purchase a jumpsuit bandeau harem suit until the shop discontinued them (at which i am absolutely devastasted!) I have seen far too many people wear them and get it wrong, so i don't think i will be taking that risk thanks!

All Saints TAKE OVER!

I am one of the many who has absolutely fallen for Independant Designer shop, All Saints.
Bringing something totally unique and rather distressed to the table from all other high street stores, they have a Rick Owens inspired quirky cool at great prices. £95 for a dress on average you really can't go wrong.

AllSaints have truely started this year's fashion trends with many designers and high street labels copying their hitched skirts, cleverly draped materials, distressed and bleached fabrics.. the list goes on.

Clones of the melody dress (above) have popped up all over the high street (Primark, Miss Selfridge), also the clones of the hitch skirt and pirate cardigan have managed to worm their way into Topshop and Primark.

So maybe AllSaints weren't unique for long, but i would definately reccomend shopping there instead of adaptive versions in high street stores, the fabrics AllSaints use are of such high quality; french silk, merino wool to name a few. Its definately worth the spend.
